This newly created fund by TheaterVision/PlayTime provides 100% of all contributions to each deserving playwright’s specific play’s costs for auditions and rehearsals. 

You and your community as an individual or a business or local government may contribute any desired amount at any time to this fund.

This fund pays for a maximum number of rehearsals to be held for a specific play to be developed into readiness for public performances. This fund also encourages directors and actors to commit to the development of original plays with out taking money out of their own pockets to pay for costly Manhattan rehearsal space.

This fund allows for a more professional casting and rehearsal process.

The average twenty minute one-act play requires an average of 40 hours of rehearsal to be minimally realized-from page to stage.  This is based on the general rule of two hours ‘on your feet’ for every minute of dialogue on the page.  Rehearsal space in Manhattan costs an average of $10.00-$20.00/ per hour.
